Tour Summary
Grab your front row seat for a trip to America’s living coral reef aboard Sandie Cat, a luxury 65’ sailing catamaran! On this trip we’ll provide you with top of the line snorkel equipment and floatation vests to make your Key West snorkeling experience the best it can be. As we depart Key West, the crew will introduce you to your snorkel gear and familiarize everyone with it and how to best use it, for effortless snorkeling.
After about 40 minutes of engine free sailing, we reach our destination on the barrier reef formation. Jump in and explore the many different species of marine life that can be found here such as eels, manta rays, turtles, angelfish, pufferfish, french grunts, sergeant majors, blue tang, the list goes on and on. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera if you have one, you’ll want to share every moment!
Don’t want to snorkel? Don’t worry, there is plenty of spacious deck area on board Sandie Cat for you to soak up some rays while your friends go and search for memories to bring back to share! Once the snorkeling session is complete, for passengers over 21 years, unlimited drinks are available including mixed well drinks, draft beer, wine, champagne, and for the younger explorers soft drinks and waters. Alcoholic beverages are provided after the snorkeling unless you’ve opted out of snorkeling and then we’ll gladly serve early. During the tour there is also live music to enjoy, playing Calypso, Reggae, or Mellow Tropical sounds that keep you in that paradise state of mind, so you’ll never want to go back!
It is now time to sail towards that ever changing colorful sunset sky. Not only do you get to experience the amazing Key West sunset sky, but the world’s largest reflecting pond will double the pleasure by expanding the view across the turquoise waters of the Gulf Of Mexico also for a view you just can’t find on land!

Do you have to know how to swim to snorkel?
While you do not have to be an excellent swimmer to snorkel, you DO have to feel comfortable in the water. Life jackets are provided for all guests and this boat has a floating safety line behind the boat to make swimming easier for less experienced swimmers.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of and understand all restrictions pertaining to this tour before booking online or over the phone. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically qualified and within any limits listed below in order to participate in this activity. No refunds will be given to those who reserve a spot and can not participate due to the restrictions listed below.
